In Vallon-Pont-d'Arc, head towards Salavas on the D579. After about 500 m, turn right onto theGR® and park 500 m further on, just before crossing a bridge (space for 2 or 3 vehicles).
Most of the hike will be marked with white-yellow signs and will end with white-redGR® signs.
(S/E) Take the track opposite towards Bessas, marked in yellow and white.
(1) At the junction with another track at the Font Garnide sign, continue straight on until you reach a crossroads.
(2) Keep to the far right, still on a yellow and white marked track, until you reach a junction.
(3) At the Sicouzat signpost, continue along the track on the left.
(4) At the La Boriette signpost, just before the hamlet of the same name, leave the track and take the path on the right towards Grospierres.
(5) At the Sicouzac signpost, at the junction with another path, ignore this path; turn left and, 20 metres further on, take the path on the right. Follow it until you reach a track.
(6) Follow this track straight ahead for about 50 metres. Then leave this track, which heads towards the Col de Cize, and take the path that climbs up to the right towards Sampzon and ends at a ridge.
(7) Follow this ridge line until you reach a path coming from the right.
(8) At the Les Pigeons signpost, continue straight ahead until you reach a path coming from the right at the Les Costes signpost.
(9) Take this path, which leads to a track.
(10) Follow it to the left for 100 metres, then, at a new fork, take the track on the left.
(11) At the Chat du Déves signpost, the track joins theGR® trail, marked in red and white; take it on the right towards Salavas.
(12) When you reach the road, take it to the right to return to the car park (S/E).
