Start at the Esplanade de la Grangette car park.
(S/E) Take the gravel path leading to the far end of the car park. Pass the access to the road on the left and continue to the footbridge over the Save.
(1) Cross the bridge. First turn left then right onto a track and cross the second footbridge to reach a stony path (Chemin du Lavoir).
(2) Turn right, go under the archway (spot a street art painting here), then cross or go to the right of the market hall. Pass by Sainte-Marie Cathedral and continue along Rue de l’Église to reach Rue Notre-Dame. Turn left and, at the junction, cross Rue des Pénitents.
(3) Keep right to follow this street. Once at the end, take Boulevard des Pyrénées on the left for a few dozen metres.
(4) Turn right. At the three-way junction, go straight on into Impasse des Canaouères and join a dirt track.
(5) Continue straight on until you reach a fork.
(6) Turn right and head up the hillside to reach Route de Montarus. Turn right onto it and follow it down until you have passed the first houses, at the entrance to the Chapelle Saint-Majan.
(7) Turn left towards the chapel. Continue to the end of the hedge on the left and head down to the right along the tree-lined path. Join the Chemin de Saint-Majan.
(8) Turn right. At the junction, take the Chemin des Religieuses on the right. At the hospital, turn left onto the Chemin de l’Hôpital. Cross the Route de Samatan opposite the town hall, first turn right then left to cross the bridge over the Save and continue to the gendarmerie. Cross the road and head to the car park (S/E)
