Parking at Place de l'Orge, on the road to Violay and Col du Pin Bouchain, near Château de l'Espinasse.
(S/E) Head to Place Heddleson, near the church.
(1) Then turn left twice to take Chemin de la Place, south-east, marked white/yellow Z13.
(2) Leave the Z11.5 trail on your left and continue along Chemin du Pas towards the Place farm. Before the farm and its small pond, take the trail on the left that descends southwards to the Moulin Lafay stream. Cross it and walk up the valley to the road.
(3) Turn left onto the road, heading south-east, which turns into a path towards the hamlet of Crêt.
(4) At the Croix de Saint-Laurent, continue straight ahead for 500 metres until the next intersection.
(5) At the junction of routes Z11.5 and V9, continue straight ahead. Leave Impasse du Sapin on your left and, at the next fork, take the path on the right to join the D49.
(6) Turn left onto the D49 for 60 metres, heading north.
Cross it and go up the path opposite, heading east, through a clearing and then into the forest, until you reach the junction with theGR®7.
(7) Follow theGR®7to the left, heading north. At the Mont Charveyron marker, continue north towards Lac de Saint-Cyr for 3.1 km.
After 2.4 km, join the D49.1 and follow it to the left for 140 m.
(8) Turn right onto Chemin du Vieux Saint-Cyr until you reach the leisure area. Continue north through the forest on theGR®7. Make a small detour to pass by Lac de Saint-Cyr and continue to the Quatre Chemins intersection.
(9) Turn left towards the west in the direction of Croix Bourru / D64 (sign). Shortly after the intersection, on the right, a path behind a chicane leads to the Tourbière de Valorges (information panel, 80 m round trip). At the edge of the forest, on the right, is the Croix Bourru.
(10) Descend the track at the edge of the forest to reach the D64. Cross it carefully (bend), ignore the small road on the right (sign Valorge 13 and 1) and take the road opposite, heading west towards Montmiront (sign).
(11) At the next fork, take the track on the left. At the next intersection, continue straight ahead. The track turns left, south-west, to reach Montmiront.
(12) Take the left-hand path to the south (signposted Z11.5 - 13 km). You will reach the D49 at the Ressy crossroads.
(13) Opposite, the Montée de la Tour leads to the Tour de Ressy (beautiful view over Saint-Cyr-de-Valorges).
(14) Turn around and head back to the Ressy crossroads.
(13) Back on the D49, turn right towards the village. At the fork, continue right on Chemin de la Polizière. Continue to the D64.
(15) Cross it and go up the path opposite. Cross the D64 again and take Rue des Centenaires to reach the centre of the village.
(1) Turn left to quickly return to the starting point (S/E).
