Route de Montauban-de-Bretagne

Yellow-blue or yellow markings (markings are a bit dated).

Parking available in the car park near the town hall.

(S/E) From the car park, head down the small path alongside the media library.

(1) At the end, turn left and cross the square to reach the Étang Saint-Éloi. Go round it on the left.

(2) Halfway round the pond, turn left to cross the Rivière du Garun. Head up a street running alongside the industrial estate.

(3) Turn left and follow the railway line along the street leading to the station, then turn right to cross the level crossing. Take Route de Boisgervilly on the right and follow the railway line on the other side. Continue along the road as it bends to the left.

(4) Turn left onto the path between the two fields and follow the small track leading to La Fosse au Loup near the water tower. Turn right towards Le Perray.

(5) Turn left onto the path leading towards Pré Jean. Carefullycross the Montauban–Iffendic road (D61) and continue straight ahead along a sunken lane.

(6) At the end of the track, turn left onto the road, cross the level crossing and join the GR®37 which passes near the Étang de Chaillou. Continue along the winding road.

(7) Keep following the GR® 37, which crosses the D28. Continue to the right then to the left, along the dirt track leading to a housing estate.

(8) Turn right and continue straight on, passing the supermarket and then the retail park.

(9) Cross Rue de Romille and pass Chevrerie.

(10) Turn left onto the dirt track and cross the Villeneuve neighbourhood. Cut across Rue de Saint-Malo and continue straight ahead.

(11) Follow the compacted track on the left which takes you to a park and the entrance to a campsite. Cross Rue de Dinan (D71) with care. Take the path that passes through two small parks to reach the fork on the outward journey.

(1) Turn left and walk back up to the car park near the town hall (S/E).
