Park in the car park located in Charbonnières Park, near the castle.

(S/E) From the car park, a short walk of a few dozen metres to the château is a must. Retrace your steps, with your back to the château, towards the car park. Take the path lined with conifers. This leads to a road; follow it to the left until you reach the park exit.
(1) At the park exit, go around the roundabout on the left, following the pedestrian crossings. First cross the D2152, then turn left onto the path. At the crossroads, turn right onto the Sentier de la Garenne and continue to the exit of Boigny-sur-Bionne, ignoring the side paths.
Still facing east and running alongside an urban area on your right, the Sentier de la Garenne path runs between a fence and vegetation, then becomes grassy. Ignore the first turn-off on the right.
(2) Leave the first turn-off on the right, which you will take on the way back. The grassy path becomes a wide, stabilised lane. Cross a street, pass a barrier, and the path becomes paved as you approach the cemetery and becomes Rue de la Planche.
(3) At the end of the tarmac road, turn right in front of a chain gate leading to a private estate. The path crosses two tributaries of the Bionne. Heading east, it becomes Chemin de la Planche as it enters the Bois des Glands.
(4) Go through a gate and then past the entrance to "La Fauconnerie" on your right. Chemin de la Planche joins a stabilised track, which you follow until it intersects with a side street. Turn left and continue along this street for about 100 metres.
(5) Leave the tarmac road and take Chemin de la Balivière on the right. This leads to a side road, which you should take on the right. Plissay Castle is on the left and can be seen from the road. Cross the road leading to the castle and take the path opposite.
(6) At the crossroads (elevation 105), turn right onto the grassy path. This joins Rue du Moulin Brulé. Follow it to the right.
(7) When you reach Rue de Ponchapi, take the cycle path on the left. Pass a crossroads and then turn right onto a tarmac path. After passing a 2-metre clearance gate, the tarmac path joins Chemin de la Caillaudière.
(8) Turn left and return to Rue de Ponchapi to enter the village of Pont de Boigny.
(9) Turn right onto Rue de Verdun, then immediately left onto a path just before the bridge over the Bionne. The path crosses the Bionne, offering a beautiful view of the bridge, then meets Rue des Bas Prés. Turn left until you reach the bend in the road.
(10) Leave Rue des Bas Prés and take a path that runs alongside the Bionne. Then turn right onto the cross path to rejoin Rue des Bas Prés. This becomes Rue du Poirier Bonneau and leads to a roundabout. Continue along the street opposite.
(11) Take the first street on the right, Rue du Château d'Eau, then turn left onto the path just before a barrier. Pass the water tower on your right and stay on the Sentier des Hauts, ignoring the numerous branches leading to the urban area. Keep left just before you reach Rue aux Loups to rejoin the path. This crosses the Mail des Chênes Rouvres and becomes the Sentier aux Loups before rejoining the Sentier de la Garenne, which you took on the way there.
(2) Turn left and take the path you took on the way there to return to the Parc de Charbonnières car park (A/D).
