Description of the walk

Park near the village church.

(S/E) Start this short hike. The trail is marked with yellowPR® signs.
You will reach the old forge. The walk begins on Rue des Viviers, then at the bench, turn left onto the path leading up to the old church - there is a cross in front of the site of the old church. Then take Rue de l'Hopitau, walking alongside the new cemetery.

(1) Continue straight ahead past the old forge along Chemin du Réservoir.
Climb for 450 metres along the path, then at the end, at the entrance to the forest, turn right onto Allée du Maréchal Vaillant. Pass between two sequoias planted around 1860 with a view of the Brenne valley, and you will finally reach the Source de Tuère.
Go up the path, keeping to the left, to reach the plateau, then continue to the D108.

(2) Cross over and take the tarmac road opposite for about 600 metres.
You will see an old sheepfold on your left, then take the second path on the left. Continue downhill for 400 metres to reach the D108 road.

(3) Continue down this road until you reach the crossroads at the old forge.

(1) Turn right towards the cemetery, taking the same path as on the way there, to return to the car park (S/E).

Nice walk, rain/sun for us. The shelter of the trees was welcome in any case.
Ideal if you don't have much time. The last part on the road was a bit long, even with no traffic

Hello,
Thank you, Masterpila, for this lovely route at the end of the year, which is still passable even after heavy rain.
A beautiful aerial ballet of buzzards as we descended towards the village.
The only downside is the noise from the D905 road below at the start and end of the walk.
Have a nice day, everyone.

No GPS, I'm an amateur, so I had a problem after the sheepfold: take the second path on the left? In fact, the path was hidden by tall grass, it's a steep descent with hairpin bends, it should have said just after a fork on the left. But thank you anyway for your dedication, in this month of July with countless butterflies.

Allée du Maréchal is surprising in this location.

The village of Uncey is very pleasant to visit.
