Description of the walk

Start and finish at Place du Martroi, next to the market hall.

(S/E) Go down Place de la République, take the street of the same name towards Pithiviers. Continue along Avenue Émile Tinet, with its beautiful houses, to the end. Continue towards the railway bridge.

(1) Before the bridge, take the road on the right to join the "side road" towards Malesherbes. Pass in front of the old railway station. At the crossroads of four roads, take the D 27 on the left towards Briarres-sur-Essonne (caution!).

(2) Before the old level crossing, follow the path on the right that runs alongside the railway line for 2 km. Join Rue de Buisseau in the hamlet of Le Pont, in the commune of Puiseaux. Pass under the bridge on the left (caution: narrow passage) and follow the road to the crossroads. Cross the D27 road (caution!).

(3) Continue straight ahead along Rue du Moulin de Charreau. At the end, take the path that climbs to the left.

(4) At the crossroads, take the path on the right, leaving the one on the left. At a crossroads, continue straight ahead and go up the hill.

(5) At the crossroads, take the path on the left, just after the small wood. Follow this path and enter the industrial estate.

(6) Continue straight ahead until you reach the D26, Route de Pithiviers and the agricultural cooperative.

(7) At the stop sign, take the D26 on the left.

(8) Pass under the railway bridge, staying on the pavement (caution: narrow passage). You will come back to the junction you passed on the way there.

(1) Head straight ahead and return to Place du Martroi via the same route you took on the way there (S/E).
