(S) On leaving the campsite, head towards the village then turn left onto the Daviha bridge. Then turn right to cross the meadow, followed by the footbridge, and take Rue du Breux on the left.
(1) When you reach junction 22, continue towards junction 20 for 60 metres, then turn right and leave the village via Rue Laiche.
(2) Carry on to the right as far as junction 23, then follow the signposted route up to Florenville via junctions 98 and 99, then towards junction 29 on Rue d’Arlon.
(3) Take a detour through Florenville by turning left into Rue de la Fontaine, then right into Les Petites Rues. Continue left onto Place Albert 1er and into Rue de l’Église. Walk round the church to admire the panoramic view.
(4) Head back the way you came along Rue de l’Église, then turn left onto Rue Sainte-Anne and left again onto Rue de la Station. When you reach junction 29, follow the signs to the left towards junction 26 for 200m, then take Rue des Flonceaux to reach junction 28.
(5) Cross over the railway line and turn right onto the RAVel L625, which passes junction 37 and then (20 metres to the left and 3 km to the right) junction 36; follow the signs for junction 95 (left onto Rue du Faing, then back onto Rue du Gué before the roundabout and opposite Rue Saint-Pierre).
(6) At the junction, leave the signposted route and continue along Rue Saint-Pierre. Turn left onto the cycle path next to the N83.
(7) Return to the signposted route via junctions 14 (to the left), 23 (opposite, then left to Termes and right into Rossignol, then right again (8) to continue along Rue Camille Joset ). The detour via the village of Rossignol follows a bend in the Semois but can also provide an opportunity for a break.
(9) After 200m, turn left towards junction 23, follow the signs for junction 51 for 100m, turn left into Rue du Pont then left again onto the N83, which is flanked by a rather rudimentary cycle path, to reach Tintigny. At the roundabout, take the first exit.
(10) At junction 52, head for junction 56(cross Tintigny, turning slightly left onto Rue des Minières and then left again before the cemetery). Continue towards junction 55 (turn left after 100m onto Rue des Marronniers).
(11) At the second junction, carry on straight ahead along Rue des Marronniers. Turn left onto Rue de Bellefontaine for 1 km, then turn right towards Fratin onto Rue de Bertauvaux and then onto the path that continues from it. Pass through Fratin, then cross the railway line and the N87, and finally the village of Buzenol.
(12) Head towards Montauban via the steep-sided valley.
(13) After your visit or a break, set off again along the same route as on the way there, then at Buzenol (12) continue towards Chantemelle until you reach junction 66.
(14) Carry on straight ahead along Rue des Mégriges. At the end, turn left, pass through Chantemelle, then leave the town on the right via Rue d’Arlon.
(15) At the roundabout, take the cycle path which runs alongside the N86 for 3 km, then turn left onto the road that crosses the Semois.
(16) In Sampont, turn left onto Rue du Potier, which leads to junction 46. Then follow the signposts towards junction 13 (left after 300m, then right onto Kohlenweg to go over the motorway and railway line and through the village of Hachy), then junction 86 (opposite, leave the village and cross the N40) to reach the centre of the village of Nobressart.
(17) In Nobressart, follow the signposts to junction 85 (turn right onto Rue de la Halte) then towards junction 87 (turn right at the crossroads, then again 350 metres further on).
(18) Turn right for 3 km, then left on reaching Lischert (19). Here you’ll find the green signposting all the way to Arlon: Pass successively through junctions 29 (Rue de Lorraine for 1 km), 34 (opposite, towards Metzert for 1.8 km) and 35 (opposite on Millewee, then Au Village and under the motorway).
(20) 30 metres further on, heading towards junction 36, turn right and, 20 metres further on, turn left onto the path towards junction 66.
(21) When the path joins Rue de la Côte Rouge in Bonnert, take Rue de la Futaie opposite, then – after a left-right zigzag over less than 10m – the concrete track. After joining Rue du Vicinal, take the small path 50m to the right which runs alongside a field, leading to the entrance of the official Arlon campsite (E).
(E) Set off again from the campsite along the same route, head down Rue du Vicinal to the right, then turn left onto Rue du Maitrank next to the tennis courts. Continue along Rue de Diekirch as far as Place Didier. Turn left onto Rue des Capucins, then take Rue du Marquisat. Head up into Knippchen (23) via Square Élisabeth.
(23) Turn back and head down from Knippchen to Rue des Capucins.
(24) Turn right and, at the end of Rue de la Porte Neuve, continue straight on into Rue Ermesinde. Then turn left into Rue de la Caserne, and straight on into Rue Nicolas Berger.
(25) To return to the campsite (E) first follow the Belarel route: turn right onto Rue de Bastogne and take the second exit off the roundabout. 100 metres after the roundabout, turn left and, at the end of Rue Émile Tandel and the housing estate car park, find the path leading to the campsite, going round the road junction on the right.
