Parking is available in the small car park near Chanterelle church.
(S/E) Head towards the town hall, then, as you leave the village of Chanterelle, take the small road on the left which meets the D305 at a hairpin bend and then branches off, heading south.
(1) At the junction south of Espramau, at an altitude of 1009, take a sharp left-hand bend and turn onto a track that climbs gently through fields and pastures. Continue straight on until you reach the hamlet of Le Bac.
(2) Take the road on the left, pass through the hamlet to join the D104.
(3) Cross it carefully and take the path slightly to the left, which winds through undulating terrain and climbs steadily up the slope towards the north before emerging onto the D305, overlooking the hamlet of Lavergne.
(4) Turn left and carefully follow the road as it winds gently round the valley until you reach the hamlet known as Les Travers.
(5) Continue to the right towards Chanterelle.
(6) Leave the road on the left and follow the almost level path which leads directly back to the village and the car park (S/E).
