Louette and Chalouette in Chalo-Saint-Mars
The route follows paths across plateaus, through forests and wetlands in the valley, along the Louette and Chalouette routes,the GRP® du Hurepoix, the platform of the former Saint-Hilaire SNCF railway line andthe GR®111. Contrast between the wide open spaces of the plateaus and the wetlands of the valley. Admire the avenue of cedars and sequoias, which are over 300 years old.
The Templar Church of Moulineux and the Sainte-Apolline spring
Starting from the headquarters of a former Templar commandery, this loop trail takes you to the source of the Chalouette River. The route is mostly cool and shaded, offering a glimpse of a rich heritage.
Medieval walk in Étampes
A former fortified royal town, Étampes boasts a superb heritage that this short urban walk invites you to discover, notably featuring four magnificent Gothic churches, including the Church of Saint-Martin with its bell tower leaning like the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
The Juine Hills starting from Saint-Martin-d'Étampes
This hike takes place mainly on the slopes of both banks of the Juine, with most of the route between fields and through woodland. Shortly before the end, you walk leisurely in the shade along the Juine and the Juineteau.
Louette and Chalouette between Étampes and Saint-Hilaire
After visiting the superb Saint-Martin Church with its leaning bell tower, you walk along the Chalouette and then along the hillsides on its right bank. Passing through the villages of Chalo-Saint-Mars and Saint-Hilaire adds some beautiful touches of heritage. The return journey is mainly along a greenway, close to the Louette.
La Forêt-le-Roi circular
On the border between Hurepoix and Beauce, this circular route alternates between paths through fields and woodland. Along the way, you will pass two villages with old churches and beautiful houses.
The heights and rivers of Étampes
This walk from station to station allows you to discover the heights of Étampes, with a beautiful view of the town, and to hike in the pleasant setting of the Louette and Chalouette valleys.
You can continue this hike by returning to the starting station (an additional 1.8 km) and take the opportunity to visit this small town, which is well worth a visit.
From Étampes to Étréchy through fields, woods and rocks
A hike that takes place on the slopes of the left bank of the Juine and on the plateau between the fields. The path through the Étréchy forest, between the boulders, is very pleasant.
Brières-les-Scellés - Étrechy circular route through fields and woods
A beautiful hike through fields and woods, with no tarmac roads or houses (or almost none). Varied landscapes, valley, woods, forest, rocks, horse stud farm, pine forest, with lovely picnic spots. A great breath of fresh air!
Between the Juine and the Marette
After a course of barely 5 kilometres, the Marette flows into the Juine near the charming little lake of Saclas. This hike offers a route through the wooded valleys of these two rivers and across the cultivated plateau that overlooks them.

A short hike with contrasting landscapes. After walking across the Beauce plateau, you will discover dry grasslands dotted with small rocks. You will then walk through the Éclimont valley and its wetlands.
The Orge Valley between the source and Dourdan

Includes a visit to Dourdan, which you cross via parks and walking trails along the Orge river or the old fortifications, avoiding the suburbs and their buildings.
