(S/E) From the car park, head to the walk’s information board and take the path that runs alongside the road and the fish farm on your left.
After the bridge, take the path on the left, following the ‘Frog’ signposting. Continue straight on. The path begins to descend gradually through the forest. Hollowed-out logs allow you to observe the ‘giants’ kettles’.
After a few dozen metres, the path descends steeply in switchbacks through the forest. Be careful, as the steps can be slippery when wet.
At the bottom of the path, turn left and head towards the base of the waterfall.
(1) Retrace your steps and cross the footbridge on the left.
Just after crossing it, the scenery changes...
Follow the path as it climbs straight ahead.
(2) When you reach the outcrop above the waterfall, this is where the walk ends. To return to the car park, follow the same path in the opposite direction (S/E).
