Puy de Sancy via the Chaudefour valley
The very secluded and beautiful Chaudefour Valley is a designated nature reserve, enclosed by the steep slopes of a glacial cirque. Jagged peaks, spires and Puys: all serve as defences for a valley that remains unspoilt and well-preserved.
⚠️ This hike passes through the Chastreix-Sancy and/or Chaudefour Valley nature reserves, where regulations must be strictly observed (see ‘Practical Information’ section)
