Blue signposting (fairly discreet)
(S/E) From the car park, head up the road on the right leading to the church, enter the grounds of the old cemetery and take the opportunity to visit the church (open from 9.30 am to 5 pm). On leaving the cemetery, turn left onto Rue de la Poste towards Les Roches.
At the first hamlet (with its beautiful stone buildings), veer right and follow the farm track. You’ll immediately find yourself in the market garden area.
(1) At the crossroads with a stone cross, continue straight ahead along the path which, running between the fields, leads to the hamlet of Les Roches.
(2) Turn right, then left towards the hamlet of Noir Chien. Continue between the market garden fields, passing the sewage treatment plant on your left, until you reach the Maison d’Hôtes les Hougues.
(3) Follow the D155 to the left and, at the first fork, turn right then immediately left onto the grassy path running alongside the Indinana campsite. Cross the D1 with care and continue almost directly opposite to reach the car park by the sea.

(4) At the car park, take the coastal path and continue south-eastwards between the sea on your left and the fields. The coast offers some beautiful beaches and a large rocky reef exposed at low tide. Pass Pointe Maigret and reach Le Moulard, where there is a navigation mark dating from 1850. Destroyed by a storm in 1995, it now stands tall once more. Reach the headland marking the boundary of Anse de Landermer.
(5) Opposite some large buildings (sign for Chemin Saint-Michel), turn right and follow the small road running alongside Landemer beach. At the Stop sign, carefully cross the D1 and continue straight ahead onto the small country road (D355). Pass a blockhouse and then the Ferme de la Haye, a fine example of a 19th-century Cotentin bourgeois farmhouse. Ignore a road on the right.
(6) Turn left onto a track leading to the Hameau Delamer estate, where a paddock is home to several animals: a pony, a donkey, a goat, hens and ducks, all living in harmony. Turn right to cross the hamlet, which is lined on either side by imposing greenhouses.

(7) Cross the D355 and continue straight ahead onto the farm track.
(8) Turn right, following theGRP®® Tour du Val de Saire to reach Montfarville, then turn right towards the nearby car park (S/E).
