Park in the small car park near the church surrounded by the cemetery (information board).
(S/E) With your back to the church, set off along the small church street, between the town hall on the left and the presbytery on the right, cross the D116 carefully and continue opposite along the farm track, which joins another track after about 500 m. Follow it to the left towards the hamlet of Haut de la Rue.
(1) Just before reaching a street, turn left onto a small path along the edge of a field. At the three-way junction, turn right and you will come to a small road which you follow to the left for about a hundred metres. Note the beautiful building opposite.
(2) At the corner, turn right and follow the road that runs alongside the large wooded property of the Manoir d'Imbranville. You will see a canalised stream on the left and a wash house on the right.
(3) At the corner of the wall, turn left and continue along the manor house and its many outbuildings. Pass the large green entrance gate.
(4) Just before the last house with a white gate, turn left onto a farm track towards the D116. Cross it carefully and follow the small road opposite.
(5) At a wash house with a stone bench on the right, turn left (sign prohibiting tractors), then left again. Pass in front of a property notable for its double entrance, and go past a wayside shrine on your left. Cross the D116 again, still with caution, and continue straight ahead, then turn right to reach the church of Gouberville, dating from 1738 and surrounded by its old cemetery. Note its original bell tower.
(6) Leaving via the corner of the cemetery, cross the D116 again and, near a statue of the Virgin Mary, take the wide farm track and follow it straight ahead. Cross a road and continue straight ahead to reach another road.
(7) Turn left onto this road and follow it for a good hundred metres. On the right, you can see the tall silhouette of the Gatteville lighthouse. Turn right onto the first path towards the seafront.
You will come to a barrier restricting access to this Natura 2000 protected natural area (Gatemare Site).

(8) Turn left and follow the marked coastal path, taking care to respect the protected areas.
The sandy path makes walking difficult in places. Continue along the coast towards Pointe de Néville, which can be seen from afar thanks to its numerous blockhouses.
(9) Pass this fortified area, of which only concrete shells remain, and continue westwards with a marsh area on your left. You will reach a small road on the left.
No signposts
(10) Follow this small road to the fortified farm of L'Isle (under restoration in September 2018) and take the grassy path that goes straight up. You will come out at the hamlet of La Houguette with its grassy esplanade. Continue along the small road on the left lined with small stone houses, which will take you to the village of Néville-sur-Mer (S/E).
