Departure from the D40 near the emergency services centre.
(S/E) Turn right at the entrance to the emergency services centre onto the yellow dirt track that runs alongside the gable of a house. Cross the road and take the track opposite on the right.
At the next crossroads, turn right then left.
(1) At the three-way junction, take the tarmac road in the centre to cross the Mignotière. Leave the hamlet and turn left to follow the Chemin des Garennes.
(2) Pass the Denis Roux wine cellar and a picnic area. Before reaching the D40, turn right onto the path that runs alongside it behind a hedge. This will take you to a road.
(3) Take it on the right. Pass in front of La Plançonnière and continue on the same road. After La Primaudière, the road continues along a path that curves to the right while climbing. Stay on the main path. At the fork, take the path opposite.
(4) When you reach a road (with a view of the Brem wind turbines opposite), turn right towards Les Abattis d'en Bas. At the second bend, take the path on the left. At the next crossroads, turn left, then right.
(5) Cross the D54 with caution and take the path opposite. After walking alongside a field, the path climbs to join a wide track. Take this left towards the foot of a wind turbine.
(6) Return to the road (you will find three information signs about the wind turbines in the car park) and turn right, walking on the hard shoulder.
(7) At a bend, leave the road and take a wide path on the right. Continue straight ahead to enter a wood. After a short climb, you will rejoin the tarmac road. Take the road opposite that climbs uphill. Ignore the Chemin des Terriers on the left, then the Chemin des Gîtes de la Corde on the right, continuing uphill.
(8) At the intersection, turn left onto Rue de la Croix Perrard. Immediately turn right onto Chemin des Plataines. At the next intersection, follow the cycle path to the left for 100 metres.
(9) At the end, cross the road and follow Chemin du Menhir on the right. Make a short detour to the menhir on the right, then continue to the right.
(10) At the end of Chemin du Menhir, cross the road and take Chemin du Grippou opposite, which winds its way through the vineyards.
(11) Just before you reach a road, turn left onto Chemin du Champ Clairet. Return to this road and turn left. At a bend, follow the path to the right.
(1) Ignore the first path on the right and take the next one on the left. Cross the road and take the Chemin des Terres Jaunes opposite, between the two houses. Join the D40, turn left and return to the starting point (S/E).
