The Portofino Park, which is described in many tourist guides, is located between Genoa and Cinque Terre.
We left Genoa by train to Camogli, the starting point of the hike.
(S) From the station, follow the two red dots.
(1) In San Rocco, there is a small shop/bar where you can stock up on supplies.
(2) At a place called Batterie, due to landslides, follow the detour indicated.
The descent to the monastery of San Fruttuosso is difficult because it is quite steep, long and on a stony path.
(3) In San Fruttuoso, there are a few places to eat, a beach and tourists who arrive by boat, as this is the only way to access this beautiful site.
Portofino, the end of the hike, is a pretty little port that is very popular with luxury tourists. Accommodation is very expensive. We chose to stay in Santa Margherita, which is well worth a visit.
From Portofino, you can continue the hike to Santa Margherita (5 km) and return by bus or train to Framura.
There is also a bus or river shuttle to Santa Margherita.
