Description of the walk

In Breuil Cervinia, the trail starts to the right of the cable car station: sentiero No. 16 or T.M.R. Climb up to Lago Goillet.

The trail then continues towards Colle Superior de Cime Blanche. The pass is actually a huge lunar plateau. The descent offers magnificent scenery: lakes, torrents, mountain pastures and views of the Monte Rosa massif follow one after the other. The descent to Fièry is pleasant: sentiero (No. 6 or T.M.R.). The last climb to Resy is a little steep.

Markings: T.M.R. (Tour du Mont Rose).
