Description of the walk

Park in the car park at Château du Haut Barr.

(S/E) From Haut Barr Castle, continue along theGR®53, marked with Red Rectangles, on flat ground. Pass the telegraph tower, then take the forest path on the right leading up towards Grand Geroldseck.

(1) After visiting the ruins of Grand Geroldseck Castle, head back down from the promontory and take the path marked with a Red Saltire on the right.
Continue towards the Château du Petit Geroldseck (bench) and visit.
Return to the path, marked with the Red Saltire, to reach the "Table des Sorcières": a picnic area.

(2) Turn right towards the Brotsch Tower, marked onthe GR® 53 with a Red Rectangle, via the Brotsch Forest Road, then turn left, marked with a Red Ring, onto the forest path leading up to the Brotsch Tower. Climb the tower’s spiral staircase to admire the view, and make use of the picnic area and shelters.
