Park in the car park of the cooperative winery.
(S/E) Head north towards Sauzet along the path that runs alongside the railway line. Reach the crossroads by the chicken coops and greenhouses.
(1) Turn right, then take thesecond path on the right, then turn left between two rows of vines. You’ll reach the junction with the N106, the dual carriageway from Alès to Nîmes.

(2) Please note: the two routes split here:
- for the 4 km route: follow the dual carriageway as far as Pont Caladat,
- for the 8 km route (the main route): go under the N106, continue straight on until you reach the mechanic’s house. Then turn right and follow the fence. You will reach a field.
(3) Turn left into an uncultivated meadow, cross the D936. Continue to the old Bas Rhône pumping station. Go round the pond. Carry on to the Sauzet dam to enjoy the view of the Gardon.
(4) Go round the Loron bull ranch. Cross the D936 again and head to the junction with a dirt track.
(5) Turn right onto it. Pass in front of the old Sauzet pumping station. Turn left, go under the dual carriageway, to reach the junction of the two routes at the Caladat Bridge.
(6) Head back up towards Sauzet, taking a path on the left through the vineyards until you reach a four-way junction.
(7) Take the path on the left; at the following Y-junctions, keep right to return to the car park of the cooperative winery (S/E).
