Circular via Louchy-Montfand from Cesset

Park in front of the Cesset cemetery on the D141.

(S/E) With your back to the car park and facing the cemetery, turn left, then right towards Cesset on the D141 and turn right at the first road to follow the GR®300 for 100 metres.

(1) Leave the GR® 300 and turn left onto a path heading north towards Montfand. Cross the first road and arrive at the crossroads at a place called Serre.

(2) Continue north-east, past Monfand, until you reach Montfand Castle.

(3) Continue along the small road that passes at the foot of the castle to join the D115.

(4) Turn right onto this road and continue for a few metres, then turn left onto the small path that descends straight ahead and joins the GR®300.

(5) Turn right, pass under a power line and follow the GR®300 trail up to the church of Louchy-Monfand, passing in front of the cemetery.

(6) Continue straight ahead at the foot of the church to follow the GR®300 along Rue de la Source until you reach Rue Sainte-Catherine on the right

(7) Turn onto this street, then turn left towards La Vendée and turn right onto the D115.

(8) Cross it carefully and climb up into the vineyards opposite.

(9) Before arriving, leave the GR® 300 on the plateau, turning left to head south towards the D141.

(10) Turn right onto this road, heading west towards Cesset, until you reach the cemetery car park (S/E).
