Departure from Saillans: Saint-Seurin Church car park.
(S) Follow the directions on the arrow sign and enter the village.
(1) Take the first street on the right, then, after Château Dalem, turn right onto the first road. After 50 metres, turn left onto the small path through the vineyards and follow the signposts. After Château Puyguilhem, cross the departmental road and follow the vineyard.
(2) Take the first road on the left. It continues as a path that descends towards the woods. Follow the signposts to Château La Brande. Go around the building on the right, then on the left. Continue through the vineyards, turn right at the signpost and climb up to the highest vineyard plot.
(3) Turn left. When you reach the paved road, turn left again. After 25 metres, at the intersection, continue straight ahead and at the next intersection, turn left and you will arrive at a fork in the road.
(4) Leave the road and follow the small path on the right at the entrance to the forest. At the end of the path, continue on the paved road at a place called Les Bernards and continue to the next intersection, where you will take a hairpin turn to the right for about 150 metres.
(5) Then turn left at the first road towards Château Bélugue. At the first intersection, turn left and then left again at the next intersection. The road winds through the vineyards until you reach the departmental road at the entrance to Saillans.
(6) Follow the D128 to the left and walk along the vineyards. At the second intersection, turn right. The road descends to the pretty port of Saillans, which is a few hundred metres away. However, if you wish to complete the loop, take the first left: you will pass a pretty wash house before arriving at the church car park.
" (No access to the top of the hill). Otherwise, it's a very pretty circular loop...
