The hike starts in front of the church in Villeneuve-le-Comte. Parking and shops available on site.
(S/E) With your back to the church, turn left onto the D96 towards Neufmoutiers-en-Brie. Just before the school, turn right onto Rue Jules Ferry towards the stadium. After the tennis court, turn left onto Allée de la Pointe and continue straight ahead to the chapel.
(1) Turn left at the barrier. Continue straight ahead, ignoring several turnings on the right and left.
(2) Before the railway line, turn left to follow it (red and whiteGR® 14 markings). Ignore two turnings on the left.
(3) At the fork, continue left on theGR® to the Bois Breton farm.
(4) Turn right onto the road and continue straight ahead for about 700 m until you reach a bend to the left.
(5) Take the path on the right to follow theGR®, which runs alongside a wood on the right. The path bends to the left at Carrefour des Masselins before reaching a fork. Turn left to follow theGR® on a small road that crosses the hamlet of Les Masselins. Continue to the stop sign.
(6) Turn right to reach Neufmoutiers-en-Brie. Cross the village following the D96 (Rue du Général de Gaulle). Pass in front of the town hall. Reach the church.
(7) Turn left towards the cemetery.
(8) At the corner of the building materials company, turn left onto the path that crosses the Marsange a little further on. You will then reach a road.
(9) Turn right to reach the Égrefins farm. Continue along the path, leaving the farm's pond on your left. Ignore two turnings on the left and continue to a crossroads.
(10) Turn left onto theGR® trail, which passes under a telephone line. After about 750 m, veer right with theGR® trail. At the next crossroads, continue straight ahead until you reach a second crossroads.
(11) Follow the path that branches off to the left towards Carrefour de Penthièvre.
(12) Turn right at the third road, Route aux Pierres. Ignore all side roads until you reach the Villeneuve-le-Comte water treatment plant.
(13) Continue along Route aux Pierres until you reach Rue de Provins. Turn left, pass in front of École Saint-Pierre and continue until you reach the D96. Turn right to reach the church (S/E).
