Gentle circular in Chemaudin and Vaux

Use the car park behind the church.

(S/E) Start the hike by turning right onto Rue du Château d'Eau. Pass to the left and below the water tower via Chemin des Grands Champs: Grand Besançon mountain bike trail. Continue along the grassy path, walk along the upper part of the pasture, then descend to the left until you reach the road, following the mountain bike trail markers.

(1) Continue right on this small road and, after about 150 metres, take the path on the left towards the woods. Join a white cross-country path.

(2) Turn left, leaving the mountain bike route on your right.

(3) Cross the road (D 216) carefully and continue straight ahead on the straight path, ignoring those that branch off to the left. You will reach a crossroads about 200 m before the RD67 (old bench).

(4) Turn left onto a wide path and you will see the first houses of Chemaudin.

(5) Leave the path on your right that leads to the main road and head towards the centre of the village via Chemin de Quesotte. You will come out onto Rue de la Nouelle, turn left and arrive at Grande Rue.

(6) Climb up to the right to the church and return to the car park (S/E).
