Loop at the bottom of the Aiguille Percée via the Condus and Parafour climbs

This is a fairly challenging circular hike around the Aiguille Percée, but it offers breathtaking views.
As the climb up Les Condus is tough (facing the slope for the entire first part of the hike), we chose to take two cross-country trails that climb more gently to make the hike more suitable for children.
It is also possible to do it in reverse, climbing up via Parafour (the trail winds) and descending via Les Condus.
The use of the app is strongly recommended.

Description of the walk

Departure from Tignes le Lac, at the Tourist Office (at the top).

(S/E) The trail starts at the bottom of the Parafour chairlift, on the right as you leave the Tourist Office. After a little over 200 m, you will come to a crossroads.

(1) Leave the return path on your left. Turn right and follow the yellow signs marked "Aiguille Percée" all the way up to the panoramic terrace.
Be careful on the first part of the climb, as you will be in the middle of mountain bike trails. Follow the yellow-marked hiking trail.
After passing under the ski lift, keep left at the next two crossroads and you will reach another crossroads.

(2) Leave the marked trail and the Condus climb on your right and follow a dirt track that branches off to the right. When it ends, follow the wheel tracks in the grass until you rejoin the Condus trail. You can't miss it, as it remains visible from a distance.

(3) Enjoy the 360° view of Tignes. Just after the viewpoint, the second loop branches off to your left, allowing you to avoid the difficult climb up to the plateau. The entrance is not very visible, so the app (or a hiking GPS) can be very useful. You will arrive at a plateau.

(4) Continue to follow the yellow signs towards the Aiguille Percée. Follow the winding hiking trail, as the trail tracks are facing the slope and are more difficult.
Caution:
in the middle of the climb, the hiking trail was washed away by an avalanche (summer 2025), making the climb a little more difficult at this point, but the trail remains visible. The slope eventually levels out and reaches a crossroads.

(5) The trail that heads off to the north is the end of the climb to the Aiguille Percée. Access is difficult and the return is via a ridge trail (for experienced hikers only). Head right towards the Aiguille Rouge chairlift.

(6) Enjoy the panoramic terrace for a break, thenreturn to the hiking trail at the previous junction.

(5) Follow the signs for Parafour towards the west. You will arrive at a small lake,

(7) It is overlooked by the Aiguille Rouge on your right. You can see the Aguille Percée from there.
Go around the lake on the left and walk along the level ground to reach the top of the Palafour chairlift.

(8) Follow the yellow signs for "Tignes par Beau Plan".
Please note that the entire descent is once again on a mountain bike trail. Follow the hiking trail carefully and be vigilant at crossroads.
The route crosses the Palafour Slalom Stadium, then heads east towards "Tigne le Lac". It approaches the Chardonnet ski lift and arrives at the La Savouna restaurant.

(9) Pass in front of the restaurant before finishing thedescent to Tignes le Lac via the hiking trail and returning to the initial junction.

(1) Retrace your steps and return to the Tourist Office (S/E).

Worth a visit

Panoramic view of Tignes and the surrounding peaks from the top of the Aiguille Rouge chairlift. The scenery during the first two-thirds of the hike is breathtaking.

We saw marmots on the way up.
