Start in front of the north gate of the bastide (car park, Fil du Volp restaurant).
(S/E) Head north for 80 metres, then turn right onto Route de Lahitère, D86, walk on the left-hand side of the road and continue for 800 metres.
(1) Follow Chemin des Aubuts to the left until you reach the end. Then turn left and follow Route de la Piche to the left, then Rue du Bout du Pré and Rue des Écoles (on the right, the Oratory of the Virgin) to reach the D6. Cross at the pedestrian crossing and head right towards the village exit on Route de Cazères. Stay on the pavement for 150 metres and turn left to cross the Bouhous bridge.
(2) 100 m further on, leave the road and turn left again onto the grassy path that goes uphill and follow it to the end.
(3) Then turn left and go down Chemin de Castille, which joins the D7G at a bend.
(4) Just before this, turn right onto the pretty path that joins Impasse de Moutas at a crossroads. Turn left onto the cul-de-sac and follow it to the end at a road junction.
(5) Turn left at the hairpin bend and follow Route de Fabas (D7g). Join the bend in the road you passed earlier.
(caution! Take care on the bend) towards the centre of the village.
(4) Go downhill, cross the D6 (caution! be very careful before crossing), take Rue des Jardins opposite, then turn left onto Rue Latour to rejoin the D6.
(6) Turn right towards the bastide and cross the Volp bridge to reach Saint-Pierre Church.
(7) In front of the church entrance, turn left towards the market hall. Walk along the market hall on your right, turn left and continue straight on towards the bastide gate (S/E).
