If you come by car, there is space for about ten cars on the side of the RD901 at the entrance to the hamlet.
(S/E) Take the tarmac road, keeping to the right for safety.
(1) Cross the road and take a small path that is usually well cleared and climbs steeply.
(2) At the end of the small path, turn right onto a wide track and then, a few metres later, turn left. Follow the route on the app. Continue until you reach a hairpin bend on the right.
(3) Take the shortcut on the left in the middle of the forest, which has a steep climb at the end. If it is not cleared, you can also stay on the track that goes around the forest. Join this track.
(4) Continue left.
(5) At the hairpin bend, take a pretty path on the left with a superb view of all the surrounding mountains. Continue, following the track closely.
(6) Cross a stream with a slightly tricky passage due to the lack of visibility caused by tall grass and possibly mud. Join the hamlet of Le Fossat.
(7) Take the road, then descend a few metres after the hairpin bend to take the path on the left.
(8) Cross the bridge over the Ruisseau de la Rouvière and continue to the next fork.
(9) Continue on the path on your left, following the stream. During this section, you will pass a small inhabited house and you will also have to cross a pontoon made of planks. Follow the path carefully to find the road after a final short climb.
(10) Turn left, and the rest of the hike will be on tarmac. Pass the church and cemetery and join the D901.
(11) Turn left to follow the departmental road that will take you directly back to the car park (S/E).
