Park in the Belvédère car park in La Garde Guérin.
(S/E) From the orientation table at the end of the car park, follow the Belvédère route, which offers beautiful views of the gorges. This part of the route is marked "Tour du Belvédère". The sections along the cliffs are secured by railings and the descents are equipped with handrails. Complete the small circular at the belvedere.
(1) Retrace your steps back to the car park.
(S/E) Cross it.
(2) At the entrance, take the wide track on the right marked in yellow and identified as a greenway.
(3) Take the footbridge over the Chassezac.
(4) At the end of the Voie Verte, leave the yellow markings, which turn left towards Albespeyres, and continue straight ahead on the old national road. Continue for 100 metres until you find the red and white markings of the GR® 72 and follow them.
(5) At the bend in the road, continue left until you reach the start of a path.
(6) The GR® leaves the road and turns left onto a small uphill path. You will come out in the hamlet of Albespeyres, opposite a small granite calvary. Turn left and follow the GR® towards La Garde Guérin.
(7) At the Combe Darmieyre marker, take the path on the right towards La Garde Guérin - Le Golf and continue to follow the red and white markings of the GR® 72.
(8) At the "Le Golf" marker, continue left, following the GR® 72 towards La Garde Guérin - Le Parking du Belvédère. You will enjoy beautiful views of the village and the tower of La Garde Guérin. The path takes you back to the Belvédère car park (S/E).
