Description of the walk

Park in the lodge car park at Combelouse.

(S/E) Follow the N106 for about 150 m, then take the small path that climbs to the left up the embankment. Continue to the D29 and turn right.

(1) Look out for the return path on the left and stay on the road.

(2) Turn left to go through the first tunnel, which is visible from the road. Exit the tunnel and come out onto a tarmac road near La Vignette.

(3) Carry on in the same direction, cross the bridge and walk for about a hundred metres.

(4) Turn left to go through the second tunnel: a torch is essential. Once you’ve emerged, carry on along the path.

(5) Head to the right to go through the third tunnel, which is much shorter than the previous ones.

(6) Once you’ve come out, take the stony path that goes down to the left and joins the D29.

(1) Turn right and follow it to the junction with the path you took on the way there. Head left to rejoin the N106 and the lodge car park (S/E).
