Park at the lower station of the Bure cable car.
(S/E) Take the tarmac path that climbs opposite to join theGR® trail, which you will follow to the left for about 300 metres. Then leave the GR® trail and take the marked path (red dots) on the right that climbs into the Combe de Corne below the cable car.
(1) Leave the return path on your left and continue straight ahead.
(2) Climb up and head for the small pass that goes around the Tête de Corne (red markings).
(3) Do not turn right into the Combe Ratin but continue straight ahead. Then turn sharply left, continuing to follow the red markings. Descend a few hairpin bends.
(4) Leave the red markings by turning right towards the Vallon d'Âne hut. You will reach a crossroads before you get there.
(5) Turn right into the Vallon d'Âne and, at the bottom, climb a few hairpin bends on the left to reach a small, unnamed pass that leads to the Vallon Froid.
(6) Descend into the valley following the obvious, marked path. At the bottom, you will find a wide path.
(7) Turn left to pass under the Vallon d'Âne shepherd's hut, ignoring the path on the left that leads to it. Follow the yellow-marked path along the edge of the hillside. Pass the entrance to a farm on the right and continue straight ahead, going around it on the left. You will reach the junction with the path that climbs up to La Corne.
(8) Continue to the right and enter the undergrowth. Join the Combe de Corne path.
(1) Turn right. Continue on the left to pass under the cable car, then keep to the right to reach the car park (S/E).
