The town of Eupen can be reached by train or bus from Belgian and German stations. The starting point is at the south car park of the Vesdre dam. Your path then winds its way to the confluence of the La Clouse stream and the Vesdre, before climbing up to the old water reservoirs of the town of Eupen. A magnificent viewpoint will allow you to discover the Helle valley, where you will descend to discover its water intake (dam and canal) for the Vesdre dam. On your way back to the starting point, you will walk along the banks of Lake Eupen. S/E.
A lovely walk around an engineering structure between spruce and oak forests. Along forest paths, you will discover the beautiful Helle Valley and the Vesdre dam lake at the confluence of the Getz and Vesdre (Weser) rivers.
