Saint-Germain-Laprade circular

Park in the nursery and primary school car park.

(S/E) With your back to the school, turn left onto Rue du Soleil Levant and take the road on the right at the T-junction. Walk for about 150 m.

(1) Follow the sandy track on the left until you reach the junction with the old RD150.

(2) Continue to the right along this road until the bend, then carry on straight ahead along the Roman road, crossing the Boussillon. You will reach a five-way junction.

(3) Cross the old RD150 that you left earlier and head straight on towards Marnhac along a path that passes under the D150. Pass the pumping station and reach the first houses.

(4) Walk through the village, continuing straight on to the centre. Once there, turn slightly left to leave the village and reach the entrance to the Bois de Sainzelles.

(5) Carry on along the small road until you reach the junction at La Sagne.

(6) Carry on along the path through the woods, then emerge into open country and reach the hamlet of Sainzelles.

(7) Follow the straight road which leads to the D156, opposite the large Michelin tyre factory.

(8) Turn left and carefully follow the road downhill to the sports hall in the town of Saint-Germain-Laprade.

(9) Continue along a small path on the left which runs alongside the sports hall and the town’s sports grounds. Pass under the D150 through a small tunnel and carry on straight ahead for about a hundred metres.

(10) Take the track on the left and carry on to the day camp. Reach the junction with the old RD150.

(11) Follow it to the right. Then turn left at the roundabout, going round the castle. Turn left again towards the town hall, passing the nursery and primary schools to return to the car park (S/E).
