(S/E) From the village visitor car park, go down the tarmac access road to the car park on the right, pass in front of the Penta Di Casinca town hall and continue for 30 m.
Follow the signs (green arrows).
(1) Go down to the right along the path that winds for 500 m to join the stony U Majo path. Follow this to the Majo road (D206) and take the path to a track.
(2) Take it to the right and, at the fork, turn right onto the Palustrico path. Cross the hamlet of Fogata further on and continue to Palustrico.
(3) Take the path straight downhill to the dry La Foata stream. Cross it and turn right. Climb the very steep path (with caution), veer slightly to the right and after 200 m, turn right to reach the summit of Mount Piubiche.
(4) Descend the path on the left, ignoring the paths on the right and left, and continue straight ahead to reach the summit of Monte Castello. Continue straight ahead and veer left to reach U Tribbiu and the Majo D206 road.
(5) Walk along the tarmac road and take the steps 20 m to the left (the path on the left before the road is blocked).
Climb the stony path and continue straight ahead on Route San Michele. Pass a cemetery on either side of the road to reach an old aqueduct.
(6) Turn right onto the road and, when you reach the entrance to the village, climb the steps on the right to return to the car park where you started (S/E).
