The trail starts directly from Montagne Bois Noir on a concrete path that quickly joins the trail, which is not marked but clearly visible to the trained eye. We walk more or less along the ravine, overlooking it among the cows and pigs, until we reach Point 1. We arrive at the road at Port Sud Est along the lagoon and find the mangrove (point 2). Continue along the road to the beach to reach Anse Mourouk, alternating between walking under the casuarina trees and on the sand until you reach Gravier.
At Point 3, there is a nice little place where we can eat, and for those who would like to end the hike here, at Point 4 there is a bus stop for Mont Lubin and Port Mathurin. Otherwise, continue along the road and at point 5, there is a small kiosk where you can rest while enjoying a beautiful view of the lagoon. At point 6, take the small concrete path (be careful, it is very steep) to point 7, then follow the road back to the starting point.
