Start from the car park at Meslay Town Hall, Rue des Courtillages.
(S/E) With your back to the car park, go down Courtillages on the right and turn left onto Rue L'Aître Savary.
(1) At the crossroads, continue left along Rue L'Aître Savary (D134). Pass in front of the château, the hamlet of Les Jonquilles, and continue to the next crossroads (D6).
(2) Cross the D6 and continue to the right. Walk past the houses of L'Étang, going uphill to the first street on the left. Take this street and cross the hamlet of Le Buisson. Continue straight ahead to the crossroads after an isolated house.
(3) Continue straight ahead, cross the Ruisseau de Bactot and take the first right (very muddy path in wet weather). Reach Cour Fontaine and continue straight ahead on the road on the right at La Tourelle.
(4) At the crossroads, turn right towards Clinchamps, pass in front of the manor house and follow the Pont Fradel road to the church in the village of Acqueville. Opposite the church, turn right and then immediately right again (D157), Route de Saint-Martin. On leaving Aqueville, turn right and head for the hamlet of La Froide Rue, then take the path on the left for a few metres behind the first house.
(5) Walk along the wall of Château de la Motte on your left. Then follow the path that leads away from the wall, to the right along a hedge. At the next crossroads, turn left until you reach the road (D6). Turn left and then immediately take the first path on the right.
(6) At the junction with Route de la Vallée, continue left and take the left-hand path in the right-hand bend that follows. At the forest house, take the path on the left just after the house and a shed. Follow the path at the edge of the forest, with the field on your left (be careful, there are large ruts), then go through the forest gate.
(7) Take the path on the right and go through the forest gate. At the forest road, cross over and take the path opposite which goes down to the stream, then go back up the path to the road to the hamlet of Les Brosses.
(8) Continue to the right for about 500 metres. Just before an isolated house, take the path on the left (it can be confused with the entrance to the house's courtyard, follow the yellow markings). Go down the path, cross the stream and go back up to Route L'Aître Cher (D134).
(9) Turn right, ignore a path on the left and take the next left at the three-way junction. A few metres further on, continue left onto Rue les Courtillages, then turn right, pass the town hall and return to the car park where you started (S/E).
