Zarza to Don Pedro

Start: Park in the Zarza cultural park parking lot, where a few spaces are available.

(S/E) Take the well-marked PR^® LP9-2 trail with white and yellow signs and markings.
Follow the signs for Don Pedro downhill, then for La Zarza uphill.
Enter the tunnel under the road. Continue through the undergrowth and you'll soon find yourself in a beautiful laurel forest. Continue downhill to Fuente la Vica.

(1) Continue on and soon reach a road at Cruz del Gallo.

(2) Turn left for a few hundred metres, then leave the road to avoid the twists and turns. Find it again and follow it to the village of Don Pedro.

(3) Now follow the GR^®130 to the right and finish the descent at the foot of the Mirador de la Cazalda.

(4) Here, turn right and climb the PR^® LP9-2 towards La Zarza. Near the Fuente de los Dornajas, there is a rest area with a bench and fountain.

(5) Continue uphill to reach the Mirador de la Doña Pola and enjoy the view.

(6) Stay at the foot of the cliff to reach the end of the Caldera del Agua.

(7) Continue uphill, find the road and turn right to return to the Zarza cultural center parking lot (S/E).

You are supposed to come across a small cheese factory in Don Pedro, but it was closed when we came by.
