Park in the car park and motorhome parking area.
(S/E) At the car park exit, turn right and follow the road towards the château for 50 metres, then turn right 50 metres further on, passing in front of the grocery shop and then the château car park.
(1) Turn left onto the steep, tree-lined path indicated by the hiking sign (marked in yellow). The rutted path then climbs, passes a barn on the left and leads to a road. Cross the road and continue straight ahead on the grassy path through the fields, which then enters a wood.
(2) Just before reaching the road, turn left onto a path, still marked in yellow, in the middle of the forest, which leads to a road.
(3) Cross this road and continue along the wide, almost straight gravel path, which then branches off to the right, running alongside a fence on the left and joining a road near a farm at a place called Les Brugues.
(4) Take the road on the left for about 300 metres, then turn left after crossing the stream onto the gravel path, which starts with a steep climb through a forest of oak, chestnut and pine trees, then gradually levels out. After the hunting car park, take a slightly narrower path on the right, which leads to a road after 500 metres.
(5) Take the road on the left for about 100 metres, then the gravel path for a few metres and finally a smaller dirt track that branches off to the left into the forest.
(6) When you reach the junction with the GR®36, continue to the right and follow it to a house on the left. It turns into a road and passes close to a farm (beware of barking dogs, but they are not aggressive). Continue to the right to a place called Vayssière and follow the path opposite.
(7) Turn left onto the path indicated by the hiking sign until you reach the D150 (Biron - Lacapelle-Biron). Cross the road and take the castine path opposite. Continue straight ahead (leaving the GR®36 which branches off to the right).
(8) Turn left onto the path leading to the Domaine de la Tuque. In the bend, just before reaching the estate, take the small path on the left that descends into the forest. As you leave the forest, the Château de Biron appears in all its majesty on the left. Follow the path that winds between fields and woods to a place called Le Bout du Parc. Take the road on the left for a few metres
(9) After passing a house, take the path that branches off to the right at the edge of the woods and continues straight ahead until you reach a road.
(10) Turn left onto the road, pass in front of the Écuries Basses, then in front of the château.
(1) Continue and turn right at the school to return to the car park (S/E).
