Circular country loop around Radlett

The walk alternates between countryside and woodland, paths, trails and small roads, making a large loop around Radlett from the Aldenham Golf & Country Club.
It runs alongside or through some magnificent locations, including, in no particular order, the golf course, Munden House estate, Wall Hall, Shenley Wood, the Ver and Colne valleys, Battlers Green Farm, etc.

Notes

There are many benches and a few picnic tables along the route.
The only downside is the industrial estate on either side of km 13.
Potential minor difficulty: when we visited in November 2025, there was no longer a footbridge over the stream at km 17.5, but crossing the ford was no problem.
Please note: the route crosses the busy A5183 road twice. Take care.
Alternative start/car park in front of Aldenham Church or at the car park at km 13.8.
