Park in the car park alongside Waroux Farm
(S/E) Leave the château behind you on your left. After about a hundred metres, turn right onto the land consolidation track. Along this long straight stretch, you can admire the water tower, which has been adopted as the emblem of our water company (CILE). At the end of this straight stretch, leave the water tower on your right and continue to the left for quite a while until you reach the T-junction.
(1) Turn slightly to the right, join Rue du Bourdon, turn left onto it, and cross Rue de Juprelle. You’ll then come to a crossroads at house number 15.
(2) Take this small path on the right, which runs alongside the road, to reach Rue de la Chapelle. Turn left onto this street and continue to Place de Viernay. Cross the square lengthways and turn into Rue Viernay. Pass Rue Daide on your left and continue right into Rue du Préyai. At the end of this street, just before the sign for Exhaure d’Ans, you’ll come to a Y-junction.
(3) Turn left onto the path, which soon joins Rue du Béguinage. On this street, after passing Rue Voie Vierneuse on your left, look out for the junction with Rue de Looz.
(4) Turn right here, then turn left at the next junction and continue left onto Voie de la Commune. Reach and cross Place G. Vanhove. Pass Rue Paradis on your left and follow Rue de l’Étang. You will then come to an X-shaped junction.
(5) Cross Rue de Féchereux and take Rue Tasson opposite. Carry on until you reach Rue de Hognoul.
(6) Turn right onto this road and follow it for a good hundred metres – please note that this short stretch has no pavement – until you reach a crossroads with a track. Leave the road and turn left onto this land consolidation track. Pass under the power line, then join Rue de Waroux.
(7) Turn right onto this road and follow it to the car park at Waroux Castle, whose turret you can see through the trees (S/E).
