Park near the footbridge in Chabannais.
(S/E) Cross the Vienne then turn left into Rue du Collège and take the path on the left between the campsite and the school. Pass the tennis courts and take the path opposite, slightly to the left. Go round the stadium until you reach the junction with Route du Mas.
(1) Turn right onto Route du Mas until you reach the junction with the D59 Route de Chirac. Continue straight ahead, taking great care when crossing, onto Chemin du Clos du Bois. Keep to the path on the left until you reach the village of La Séchère.
(2) Take Route du Lavoir straight ahead, until you reach the junction with Chemin de Tisseuil.
(3) Turn right onto it and follow it. Continue along the Chemin des Grosses Pierres, which follows on from it. Reach the village of Tisseuil at the junction with the D349.
(4) Turn left and immediately continue along Chemin de la Pommeraie. At the end of this path, follow the track that continues from it until you reach the junction with Route de l’Aumônerie.
(5) Turn left onto it and immediately turn left again to take thefirst path. Walk along the hedgerows, keeping to the right at the next crossroads. You’ll reach a road; turn right onto it and emerge at the hamlet of l’Aumônerie. You’ll then come to a right-angled bend.
(6) Turn left onto the path to enter a wood. You will then come to two ponds.
(7) Keep to the path on the left to reach the edge of the woodland at the hamlet of Le Porchet.
(8) Take the road on the right and cross the D59 with care. Continue along the Route des Plantes
to reach the village of Rambaudie.
(9) Cross the village and then take the Terre du Moulin road to reach the Rambaudie Mill on the banks of the Vienne.
(10) Leave the road at the mill and take the path on the left that runs alongside the river. At a hairpin bend, join the road linking Foulounoux to La Broussauderie.
(11) Turn onto it and follow it until you reach the houses of La Broussauderie.
(12) Keep to the path on the right and you will soon reach the junction you passed on the way out.
(1) Turn right and go round the stadium to the tennis courts. Go behind the covered courts along the campsite and the river to the steps at the foot of the footbridge. Take these and cross the Vienne again via the footbridge to return to the car park (S/E).
