Description of the walk

Start: From Snake Road. Grid ref. SK 129 894

(S/E) From the car park, take the path South toward River Ashop. Cross the river, continue straight and keep on the main path South-West going up along Blackden Brook River. Keep going up until reaching an intersection of paths.

(1) Take left (South-East), after a couple of meters take the path on the left (North-East) and keep straight until reaching another intersection of paths.

(2) Take left (East) and continue straight on the path going down along Blackden Edge until reaching an intersection of paths.

(3) Take left (North) to go down following the little beck. Keep straight going down (Navigation skills will be needed here as the path is not visible). Keep straight until river the bridge on the River Ashop again. Cross the bridge and walk straight until the road and car park.(S/E)

Terrain: Rocky paths, some sections the path is not visible and will need some navigation skills.
