Start: The Old Nags Head pub, Edale, Hope Vale (S33 7ZD) Grid ref. SK 122 859
(S/E) Just before the pub (coming from the car park), take left (West) on the "Pennine Way" footpath. After a couple of meters, take the left path and continue straight across fields on the Pennine Way until reaching Upper Booth (1.8 Km).
(1) At the road, take left, then right and right again to take the footpath (North) following the river Crowden Brook. Keep straight on this footpath passing Crowden Clough and straight until reaching an intersection of paths (2.2Km).
(2) Take right (East) and keep straight until Grindslow Knoll.
(3) At Grindslow Knoll, take right (South) then left after a couple of meter (South-East). Keep straight on the path going down until reaching the Pennine Way (Navigation is needed here). Once again on the Pennine Way turn left to walk to the pub. (S/E)
