(S) Leave the car park heading south, cross the D18 and go straight down a track towards the bus/camper van car park. Continue straight ahead until the path becomes tarmac and continue to Le Rebout.
(1) Take the road on the right, then the first track on the right, Chemin de Quessenot. Further on, pass three houses and continue straight ahead until you reach a four-way crossroads (elevation 431).
(2) Continue straight ahead and follow the GR®13. The track turns into a path and passes under the Bois de Brunesois before coming out onto a small road. Turn right onto the road to reach a crossroads at La Boutière (private castle, campsite).
(3) Continue on the D179 to the left, then immediately right onto Chemin du Moulin, and left at the next crossroads. Continue to the departmental road and follow it straight ahead until you find Chemin de Porimbard on the right. Take this road (leaving the GR®13) and continue to the cemetery.
(4) Continue along the path opposite. At the main road, turn left (waste sorting point) and you will reach the central square of the village of Saint-Léger-sous-Beuvray (bakery, delicatessen, hotel-restaurant, accommodation).
(5) Cross the square (fountain), take Route de la Comelle, turn left onto Rue Marie Louise Debes and follow it to the end.
(6) First turn left then right and take Route de Chevigny. Pass in front of the Maison du Beuvray (accommodation) going straight ahead, pass the hamlet of Chevigny and you will reach a cross.
(7) Follow the path on the left and leave the GR®13 (on the right is Le Croux, a horse riding centre/accommodation). Continue straight on to Les Dués (accommodation).
(8) At the iron cross, take the road on the left (very beautiful view of Beuvray and Haut Folin) and continue to La Chauvotte (campsite).
(9) Turn right, then left at the next crossroads. Cross a small bridge and turn right again onto a beautiful track, continuing to Chaumoy.
(10) Once in Chaumoy, take the path on the left just after the houses. Pass through Savilly, then arrive near a farm on the left side of the road.
(11) Then take a path on the right, marked in yellow. Follow these markings, straight ahead, then left, and straight ahead again to Jouvrain.
(12) Take the path on the left, still following the yellow markings. At the small road, turn left, pass Les Travers and take the path on the left at the end of the track. Continue straight ahead, then left and straight ahead (elevation 450), before descending into the forest to the main road.
(13) Turn right (the detour to the right is a path that leads to the riverbank and a statue of the Virgin Mary on a rock 100 metres away), cross the bridge over the Méchet and continue left on Rue Saint-Martin, then straight ahead in front of the church to the hotel/restaurant/grocery store "Chez Cécile", the end of the first of two stages (E).
