Castillo de Peñaflor
Situated in the Bardenas Reales desert, this castle is said to have served, according to legend, as a prison for Doña Blanca of Navarre, who is said to have refused the husband chosen for her by her father, Juan II of Aragon.
Tres Mugas from El Paso
A loop to climb the Tres Mugas, the highest point in the Bardenas Reales, then pass the foot of Puy Águila.
Peña del Fraile
A round trip takes you to the Peña del Fraile, from where you can enjoy a marvellous 360° view of the Bardena Negra, less well-known but less frequented than the Bardena Blanca. The path is relatively well marked, with numerous cairns along the way.
