Loop from Montserrat Monastery to the Mont St Jeroni viewpoint
A magnificent loop starting from the famous Montserrat monastery to the St Jeroni viewpoint. There are many views along the way. You will pass by the main points of interest in the area.
The trail is well maintained but requires good walking shoes as there is a significant elevation gain.
Parking at the monastery is charged by the day but there are no other options.
From Plaça Kennedy to Parc de l'Oreneta
A hike in the hills above Barcelona and in Collserola Park, which borders the western edge of the city.
Gorg Negre de Santa Cecilia de Voltregà
This route is accessible to everyone. There are a few slightly steep sections that require some caution, but overall it is an easy hike. Keep in mind that you will cross the river about four times per trip. It takes about an hour to reach Gorge Negre.
Descent from the rack railway at the top of Montserra
Take the rack railway from Saint Joan. Exit right towards the chapel, then return to the rack railway station and descend to the monastery of Montserra.
