The Tannerroise walk and the Moulin de Béon

The route starts from the church car park.

(S/E) With your back to the church, head left, due west for a few metres, take the road on the left, Rue du Pont, and continue straight on until the fork at the town hall of Tannerre-en-Puisaye.

(1) Ignore the road to the left towards Mézilles and turn onto the one on the right (D160) for about 100 m. Turn right and head straight on to reach the hamlet of La Sarauderie further on.

(2) At the three-way junction, ignore the path on the right and take the one on the left, which soon leads to the hamlet of Lieu du Gros. When you reach a road, turn left and continue to the next crossroads.

(3) At the four-way junction, turn left and, as soon as the road veers off to the left, leave it and take the path on the right, which soon leads to another road.

(4) Head straight on along this path until you reach a crossroad. First turn right then left and take the path straight ahead between the trees, which soon leads to a road.

(5) Head left along the road and join the D7. Cross it with great care and head straight ahead to join a crossroad.

(6) Turn right and follow a path. Continue along it for 100 m, then turn left. Shortly afterwards, cross a footbridge and you will soon reach a road.

(7) Turn left and continue to the four-way junction. Ignore the dead-end on the left and continue straight ahead along a wide path. You will reach the D22; turn left and head for the church car park (S/E).

This route allows you to enjoy beautiful crossings between (2) and (3) and between (6) and (7).
