Park in the car park behind the church, along the Semois.
(S/E) With your back to the Pierre à Marier, located along the Semois, walk past the church entrance. Turn right and head towards the road bridge over the river. In the bend before the bridge, turn left into Rue du Herdier.
(1) On your right, at the entrance to the road, you will see a grassy alleyway between two houses next to No. 167. Take this alleyway, which quickly becomes a footpath. Climb up behind the houses. At the crossroads, continue straight ahead. Follow the GR®® markings. Continue climbing. At the fork, turn right, then right again and climb up to the cross, following the winding path. Viewpoint over Bohan. Take the path behind the cross to the crossroads at Roche la Dame.

(2) Take the first forest path on the left. At the crossroads, continue straight ahead and keep to the right at the fork.
(3) At the viewpoint at La Cuve, climb up to see the view over the Semois. Take the path behind the viewpoint, ignoring the path on your left further on. At the fork, continue left. Continue to a large intersection at La Suette.
(4) Turn left, then right at the fork. Leave the marked trail and descend to the road.
No markings
(5) At the road, turn left and walk for 400 metres. Ignore the path on your left, cross the Bohan stream and take the path on your right, at a place called Durmont. Go up the path on the right. Continue straight ahead on the well-marked path. Ignore the path on your left. At the crossroads, continue straight ahead. At the fork, keep left. Continue to Le Chêne à l'Image. Don't bother looking for the oak tree, it's no longer there.

(6) Turn left at the fork on the left. At the crossroads, continue straight ahead and at the next fork, leave the markings.
No Markings
(7) Continue straight ahead. Further on, the path shifts upwards. Continue to the crossroads.
(8) Continue straight ahead. The path becomes a trail that is sometimes very faint. Continue straight ahead, the trail descends then climbs again and ends at the GR®® trail. Turn left. Pass through the hamlet of "Les 8 Semois". Continue straight ahead.

Turn right at the crossroads.
(9) Carefully descend the path on your right, which winds down to a forest road. At the bottom, turn left onto the road. Turn right and descend to the main road in Bohan. Turn right and walk back past the church to return to the car park (S/E).
