Park in the car park at the Saint-Laurent Chapel at the start of the road to the Aniane Observatory.
(S/E) Head to the back of the car park and take the path that passes in front of the chapel ruins, then runs alongside a field.
(1) At the end of the field, take the path on the right, which is flat at first and then climbs until it crosses the old railway line. Turn left onto the bridge leading to the tunnel. Continue along the track after the tunnel, cross a second bridge and you will come to a fork.
(2) At this fork, there are two paths on the left: take the second one, which is smaller and grassier. You will come to a crossroads.
(3) Take the track on the right until you reach a junction and take the track on the left.
(4) At a fork, leave the track and take a well-marked path on the left.
(5) When the path joins the track, turn right towards the junction about 20 metres away. Then take the left-hand track. Quickly continue along a small path that leaves the track on the right until you reach a barbed wire fence. However, there is an easy passage through to a junction of tracks (elevation 193).
(6) Turn left onto a grassy track that is initially sloping but then flattens out. It leads to another track coming from the right, which you should follow straight ahead for about 150 metres.
(7) At the hunting tower, turn left, heading due north. The track narrows further on into a path until you reach a sharp bend in a main road. Cross the Ruisseau des Corbières stream and take the uphill section heading due west. When you reach the departmental road, follow it to the left for about 150 m (elevation 205).
(8) Turn left onto a well-marked path. Ignore any paths branching off to the right or left until you reach a fork in the road.
(9) Turn right, then right again at the next fork.
(10) About 100 m further on, just after a dry stone wall, take a small path on the left, downhill.
(11) Ignore a cleared path on the right, which was formerly used but is now impassable due to rockfalls. Continue along the obvious track, then use your GPS if necessary to find the most logical path, heading south at first, then veering slightly to the right until you reach a wide, clearly visible path.
(12) Take it on the left. Then continue along the path on the right until you reach the bed of the Ruisseau des Corbières, which you must cross. Continue to a crossroads. Continue on the right along the stream until you reach another intersection.
(13) Cross the stream and go through a hiking gate. Cross the stream again further on.
(14) When the path reaches a wider area, take a path on the left that runs alongside or follows the bed of a dry stream. It ends in a more wooded area and the stream is naturally crossed by the path that leads back to the fork you passed on the way there.
(1) Continue straight ahead and return to the car park (S/E).
