Around Fanfarigoule

Park on Rue des Rosiers, near the buildings in a small free car park. If the car park is full, there are numerous car parks in the ZAC (commercial development zone) less than 100 m from the start.

(S/E) Follow the Chemin des Moutonniers, alongside the railway line. It is a quiet road where vehicles drive slowly. Continue to the junction with the Route de Fanfarigoule.

(1) Continue straight ahead on this road and you will arrive at the Lavalduc railway zone, near the railway line.

(2) Turn right to reach the Fos-sur-Mer Canal Bridge.

(3) Head due north along the path running parallel to the canal; you’ll reach a bend opposite the Old Quarry.

(4) Leave the canal and turn right, then follow the airbase until you reach the bend, north of the quarry opposite a field of solar panels on the base.

(5) Turn right, until you reach the^second field of panels.

(6) Continue straight ahead and, in an almost straight line, return to the original junction.

(1) Turn left and retrace your steps to return to the car park on Rue des Rosiers (S/E).

This walk offers very little shade, so don’t forget your hat.
