Along the Deûle canal between Wambrechies and Quesnoy-sur-Deûle

Start: Park at the distillery car park in Wambrechies.

(S/E) Head for the canal and join the towpath behind the distillery.

(1) Turn left, heading north-west, and continue straight ahead along the canal.

(2) Pass under the D654 road bridge (only visible on the map when zoomed in) and continue.

(3) Pass the lock, come into view of the center of Quesnoy-sur-Deûle and climb up to the road.

(4) Turn right to cross the bridge, almost opposite the church. Turn into the first street on the right, Rue du Général Koenig, to reach the bank on the other side and follow the canal in the opposite direction.

(5) Keep right, cross a footbridge and pass the lock you saw on the outward journey.

(6) At the left-hand bend towards the D108, turn right to stay alongside the canal, pass under the road bridge again and continue to the bridge at the distillery. Cross the bridge and turn right to return to the car park(S/E).
