Description of the walk

Departure from Champ de Foire in La Rochebeaucourt and Argentine.

(S/E) Head towards the 12th-century Gothic-style Saint-Théodore Church.

(1) Leave the church on your left and take Rue du Château. At the presbytery cross, continue straight on the old road that led to Mareuil. Gradually slip into the undergrowth overlooking the current D939 road.

(2) The Bonneuil wash house fountain, where the washers' beaters still echo, awaits you for a moment of refreshment. 100 metres further on, at the crossroads, take the right-hand path, on the old natural boundary of the parish of La Rochebeaucourt, to join the Bonneuil road.

(3) Descend to the right towards the village to arrive in front of the Maison du Chapitre. The Champ de Foire is on your left (S/E).

Stroll along the village's main street and discover the buildings dedicated to pilgrims travelling to Santiago de Compostela.
